  In-app playbooks, our knowledge base, and recorded walkthroughs are all available to guide you — even if you’re self-implementing. Spend time in The Guard navigating through each section to better understand the full offering available to you.

Phase 2: Assess and Activate

This is where you start building momentum and seeing where your program stands.

• Complete your risk assessment
  Use The Guard’s guided assessment to create and evaluate your current risk posture and surface areas to improve.

• Review and adopt your policy set
  Browse our curated policy manuals or create your own. Assign policies to teams and track acknowledgements.

• Set your compliance calendar
  Map out recurring tasks like audits, employee training, and policy reviews so that you can ensure you are meeting timelines.

Phase 3: Engage and Expand

Now that you’ve set the foundation, it’s time to broaden your scope.

• Create Training and ongoing enrollment
  Build training plans and auto-enrollment for your teams- including courses that award CE credits

• Document your assets
  Start building your internal system of record — from laptops to cell phones to servers

• Explore reporting tools
  Use dashboards to monitor progress and demonstrate accountability to leadership or auditors.
